My work as a therapist and grief companion is centred on my belief that each one of us deserves a relationship in which we can feel deeply heard with warmth and compassion. I hold respect for the stories and journeys of people’s lives and understand that life events, relational difficulties, or mental health concerns can significantly impact our ability to feel steady, connected, and whole.
It is my hope that through focused and purposeful conversations, the people that I meet with can move towards lasting and meaningful change in their lives and be more fully themselves. I have training and experience working with people navigating difficult life transitions, living through grief, healing from abuse and trauma, and coping with depression, anxiety, and sleep issues. I work to help people identify unhealthy reactions, behaviours, and beliefs that can limit relationships or leave us feeling lost or unfulfilled.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I hold a Master’s Degree in Counselling and Spirituality and have completed post-degree training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Self-in-Relationship Psychotherapy, Grief Counselling, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and trauma-informed practices.
